Our Apartment

Our apartment, consisting of three rooms and kitchen, is located at the top floor of three. It offers an area of 104 m², of which approximately 10 constitute the terrace. The apartment includes air conditioning, comfortable beds to sleep four in the two bedrooms and on top there are two pliable IKEA beds which may be used if required. The drawing below shows the layout of the apartment.

Dining Room/Lounge

The dining room is the largest room and where you first come in when entering the apartment. From here there is access to all the facilities the apartment offers. The dining room is composed of three parts: The entrance hall, the dining area which houses a dining table with seating for six people and the lounge area which includes one 3-seat and one 2-seat sofa, a coffee table, TV and a bar. The TV is connected to the Spanish Terrestrial system and Scandinavian Channels through fibre. In the apartment there is WiFi through fibre.

Kitchen

The kitchen, as is the custom in Spain, is small and enclosed. Spanish housewives on vacation expect not to be employed in the kitchen preparing food, they expect to be cosseted in dinning out. We have however improved the kitchen converting it also into a meeting point, following the design of our Swedish homes. For that reason we have also greatly enlarged the kitchen/lounge hatch, providing greater light and visibility, at the same time adding the facility of a bar counter, plus equipping the kitchen with other life facilitating appliances such as microwave owen, coffee maker and dish washer. Including of course also full sets of china, glass, knives, forks and spoons, pans and so on one need for comfortable living. Right next to the kitchen you find, as is common in Spain, an "outer" kitchen. Here a washing machine and a tumble dryer are installed.

Master Bedroom

The Master bedroom, on the sea side, is equipped with an 180 cms DUX King size bed. Here you also find a TV and book shelves filled with books, mainly detective stories. The bedroom is also equipped with a wardrobe with hangers and drawers.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom of the apartment is on the Pool side and equipped with two Hilding Anders 90 cms single beds. Also this bedroom houses a bookshelf, mainly filled with "women's" and children's books. There is also a chest of drawers and a wardrobe with hangers.

Terrace

The terrace, in our opinion the "jewel" of the apartment, is surrounded by flower-boxes and faces the sea, offering splendid views over the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Almost all around the year we have sun there from 8 am to 8 pm. We really love to use our terrace for taking a drink, barbecue and eat.

Address of the apartment

The address is Edificio Sevilla 2 A, Urbanización Costalita, E-296 80 ESTEPONA (Málaga) which means: Entrance Sevilla (the row closest to the sea, second entrance from the access road), apartment A (to the right) on the 2nd (upper) floor. Postal address is Calle Trajano #22. Above the door there is a sign ”Bahia del Sol” (Sunshine Bay), there are no other name signs or similar. The apartment distinguishes itself from other apartments as it is the only one in the area with a handle on the outside.
